The City of Sydney Council provides volunteer service for City Farm, scouts and other opportunities that will appeal to youths who would like to volunteer.

Location: In the City of Sydney including Alexandria and Redfern
Requirements: If you have previous experience working in community groups or in the gardening sector this is a great opportunity to help the community and further those passions

City of Sydney Council has a range of volunteering opportunities available. Volunteering is a great way to connect with our community and make a real difference. Services available to volunteer with include our City Farm, Bushcare, and more.
1st Alexandria Scout Group;
At 130 Henderson Road Alexandria NSW 2015 is a Scout Hall that has been vacant for over a decade. A group of local volunteers have taken on the task of reopening it so it is ready to serve the local community starting in 2016.
Friends of Alexandria Scouts is:
recruiting Cubs and Scouts leaders
re-establishing Alexandria Scouts Troop
reopening Alexandria Scout Hall
City Farm;
Anyone over the age of 15 is invited to become a City Farm volunteer where they can impact urban agriculture and sustainable living. Time commitment ranges from 1 hour to full day and also encompasses various educational opportunities.
